I didn’t say Finn wasn’t right, I mean, Kobe was our only friends giving us unconditional love. He was always there when we needed him.

But I need to do this. I need to make everything right and prove to my family that I can do this.

If I succeed with this, I’ll have all the money in the world, and heck, we can even buy Kobe back!

I dialed up the guy with the offer.

”Hey there, I’m interested in taking you up on your offer.”

”Hi Alex, that’s awesome to hear! Where do meet?”

”Let’s meet at Sector 3 Forestry, I’ll bring Kobe’s favorite toys and you’ll bring the 200 munits in cash.”

”Deal”.

As I was packing Kobe’s things, I noticed he was crying. I had never seen or heard of dogs crying. Today I still can’t fathom the pain that I put him through by doing this. I betrayed him.

We met up and traded the cash for Kobe. When I eventually got home, I was in my room for days just crying and regretting what I had done.

My misery was cut short when the door was slammed open.

”YOU SOLD HIM!” shouted Finn.

”I had to Finn, you have to understa-”

My explanation was cut short by Finn charging me into the wall of the bed. He was carrying a shard of glass and held it to my throat.

”Finn, Finn, stop! You’re killing me for a dog!”, I managed to utter out.

”AT LEAST THE DOG WAS LOYAL, YOU’RE NOT. YOU’RE NOTHING TO ME!”, he shouted.

Eventually, he let go. He couldn’t go through with it. He collapsed to the floor crying his eyes out.
